Gyets IRS Support Worker

Dear Gyets IRS Survivors,

Good day! I am happy to share that I am back as your support worker. I have left for awhile to care for family.

I am still living in Gitsegukla, and my parents are Richard & Lily Howard, both pre-deceased. I’m a mother, wife of Michael Walker Sr, and my 2 sons are Michael Walker Jr and Matthew Walker.

I have taken Professional Counseling and have gained experience working at Wilp Siisetxw as a counselor.  I’ve worked in group homes in Prince George working with high-risk children and children that have been apprehended. Most rewarding experience was working with you all and families inflicted with IRS.  

My heart is working with our people and my hope is to be part of the healing.

I will be seeing clients as needed at the Gitsegukla United Church, coffee will be on.
